Obituary: Jayne W. Wilson

Jayne W. Wilson 1941~2005 NEPHI- Jayne Carolyn Wankier Wilson, age 64, passed away November 14, 2005 in Nephi, Utah. She was born May 2, 1941 in Gunnison, Utah to Clem Joseph and Vera Mellor Wankier. She married LaGrand Wilson July 23, 1960. He died December 29, 1989. She grew up in Levan, Utah. She attended Juab High School, Snow College and Brigham Young University. She taught elementary school in Nephi for 30 years, making a huge difference in many lives. After retiring she had more time to indulge in her grandchildren, the light of her life. Survived by her daughter, Annette (Russell) Gadd; grandchildren, Jessi (Clint), Bradee (Trisha), Knik (Alex); great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Brax; sisters, Lillian (George) Fish, Dorothy (Newell) Rigby, Judy (Lee) Pitcher; mother-in-law, Pearl Wilson. Preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Jack Wankier. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Friday, November 18, 2005 in the Nephi 2nd Ward, 222 S. 100 E. Friends may call from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment in the Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery.
