Air Force Airman Dylan T. Steele has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Linda Steele of East Creek Road, Sandy and Randy Steele of South Baldwin Park, Murray. Steele is a 2005 graduate of Cottonwood High School, Murray.
Champion of Utah's homeless, Pamela Atkinson, was recently named the recipient of the 2005 Athena Award by the Salt Lake Chamber and the Women's Business Center.

John W. Noyes graduated from the Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) Leader Development and Assessment Course, also known as "Operation Warrior Forge," at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash. He is the son of Nathen W. Noyes, Salt Lake City. Noyes is currently attending Brigham Young University.
