America in the past has always represented the moral high ground. We were always able to hold our head high. How this has changed with Iraq. The military recently acknowledged the use of "white phosphorous" against combatants and others. This issue along with the acceptance and tolerance of torture and suspects in limbo for more than four years is hurting America. Such a course is steering us toward a new set of values.
