Marilyn Jeanne Price Adams

, 79, member of the Young Women general board from 1972-1978, died Aug. 31, 2005, in Salt Lake City. She was a former national vice president of Lambda Delta Sigma, the Church's sorority. She also wrote the words to the Primary song, "Hum Your Favorite Hymn," and was a writer for the sesquicentennial production of "Zion," held in the Salt Lake Tabernacle.

Dale M. Valentine, 77, president of the Texas South Mission from 1970-1973, died Nov. 9, 2005, in Farmington, Utah. He was a former branch president in Peru and a counselor in the Andean Mission presidency.

Joseph Snow Wood, 89, former member of the Young Men general board, died Sept. 6, 2005, in Salt Lake City. He was a patriarch and a former bishop.
