BOTTOM LINE: The Panthers (9-2) have only lost once since falling to BYU in September. They have concluded their regular season.

Last week:

TCU did not play, regular season over

BOTTOM LINE: The Horned Frogs (10-1, 8-0), the MWC champs, are waiting to find out about their bowl plans — likely the Liberty Bowl or Houston Bowl.

Oct. 1

SDSU 31, BYU 10

Last week:

SDSU 34, Wyoming 21

BOTTOM LINE: The Aztecs (5-6, 4-4) have won two straight games and could finish at .500 if they can win at Hawaii on Dec. 3.

BYU 27, New Mexico 24

Air Force 42, New Mexico 24

BOTTOM LINE: The Lobos (6-5, 4-4) suffered an unexpected beating at the hands of the Falcons. Now they are hoping for a bowl invitation.

Last week: The Rams (6-5, 5-3) got bowl eligible with a come-from-behind victory over the Rebels. Will it be enough to get them into a bowl game?

BOTTOM LINE: The Irish (8-2) are still in the running for a BCS bowl after defeating the Orangemen. They close out their regular season next week at Stanford.

BOTTOM LINE: The Falcons (4-7, 3-4), after losing seven out of previous last eight games, finished the season with a convincing win over the Lobos.

Nov. 5

BYU 55, UNLV 14

Last week:

Colorado St. 31, UNLV 27

BOTTOM LINE: Mercifully for the Rebels (2-9, 1-7), the season is over. Coach Mike Sanford has plenty of work to do for next year.

Nov. 12

BYU 35, Wyoming 21

Last week:

SDSU 34, Wyoming 27

BOTTOM LINE: The Cowboys (4-7, 2-6) completed a disappointing season, having lost their final 6 games. Turnovers killed Wyoming during its dubious stretch.

Nov. 19

Utah 41, BYU 34

BOTTOM LINE: The Utes (6-5, 4-4) salvaged their season by upsetting BYU. Utah, which bounced back from last week's loss to UNM, should be bowl-bound.
