Obituary: Ronald Wayne Wright

Ronald Wayne Wright 1928 ~ 2005 Our cherished, loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, Ronald Wayne Wright, died Saturday, November 19, 2005, of complications following surgery. Born May 28, 1928, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Wallace Bruce and Emma Moser Wright. Married Janice Gardiner in the Salt Lake Temple August 5, 1980. They had three daughters, who were the light of his life. Graduated from Blackfoot High School and attended Utah State University where he was active in student government and Kappa Sigma Fraternity, graduating with a B.S. degree in business. Commissioned officer in the United States Air Force. Served in the Korean War as intelligence officer. MBA graduate of Brigham Young University, where he became an avid BYU sports fan and later one of the first members of the Cougar Club. Accepted a position with American Hardware Mutual Insurance Company, cited as one of the top salesmen for over twenty years. In 1975, opened his own commercial insurance company which he operated until he retired at age 56. Member of the LDS Church; serving faithfully in many callings. Cherished his long-term SL Temple service. Ron's kindness to humanity was felt by many whom he helped generously. His gentle strength and calming influence will be greatly missed by those closest to him. Survived by wife Janice; daughters, Abby, Ashley and Megan, all of Salt Lake City; sisters Nevada Robards, Jackson, WY., and Donna Leebonow, Alder, MT. Preceded in death by parents; brothers W. Adrian, Milten, Hesden, Merlin, Ken, Darwin and sisters Louella Murdock and Vanona Goodwin. Funeral Saturday, November 26th, at 1 p.m., in the Valley View 10th Ward (2000 E. 3900 S.) Viewing Friday, 6 to 8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn (2350 E. 1300 S.) and Saturday at the Church 11:30 - 12:45 p.m. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be sent to
