Leo L. Gandley 1930 ~ 2005 Leo Lawrence Gandley, 75 of Salt Lake City, died November 20, 2005. He was born January 11, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York to Thomas Francis and Katherine Cobb Gandley. He served as a staff sergeant in the U. S. Marines from 1951 - 1954. Married Victoria Amendolara on April 24, 1955. He retired from Dugway Proving Grounds in 1993. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Victoria. Sons, Leo Thomas (Jill) Gandley and John D. (Liza) Gandley. One granddaughter, Gabriella "G.G." Gandley. Sisters, Frances (Anthony) Romano and Rose Salvano. He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 941 East 3300 South, SLC, UT 84106 or the charity of your choice. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 670 South 1100 East. A vigil service will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at 7:00 p.m., also at the church, where friends may call from 6:00 -7:00 p.m. Committal, Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street. Funeral directors, Neil O'Donnell and Sons.
