Parking limited to allow plowing

With winter snowstorms on the horizon Davis County cities have started limiting public street parking. Here is a list of the local winter-parking restrictions:

Bountiful: No street parking between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. from November through March. Vehicles must also be parked off the street during snowstorms.

Centerville: From Nov. 15 through April 15 no parking is allowed on public streets between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Clearfield: Starting Nov. 1 until Feb. 28, no vehicles can be parked on the street between midnight and 5 a.m. All other times of the year, vehicles are not allowed to be parked in the same location on any street for more than 72 hours.

Clinton: From Nov. 15 to March 15 no vehicles can be parked on the street from midnight to 7 a.m.

Farmington: From Nov. 15 until Feb. 28, no vehicles can be parked in the street right-of-way from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m.

Fruit Heights: Street parking is restricted from Nov. 1 to April 1 from midnight to 8 a.m.

Kaysville: Between November and Marchresidents are asked not to park on the street from midnight until 6 a.m.

Layton: Nov. 15 to March 15 from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. no vehicles are allowed to be parked on the street. Vehicles must be parked off the street if snow removal is required during all other hours.

North Salt Lake: No overnight parking from Nov. 1 until April 1 from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Vehicles must also be parked off the street during snow storms.

South Weber: Residents cannot park their vehicles on any public street from midnight to noon starting Nov. 1 and ending March 31.

Sunset: No vehicles can be parked on the street year-round between 2 a.m. to 7 a.m.

Syracuse: No parking when there is a projected snowstorm, it is snowing, there is snow on the ground or when workers are plowing. Year-round vehicles cannot be parked on the street for more than 48 hours.

West Bountiful: No parking on the streets from Nov. 15 to April 15 from midnight to 6 a.m.

West Point: No parking on the street from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. every day of the week starting Nov. 1 through March 1.

Woods Cross: From Nov. 1 to March 31 vehicles are not allowed to be parked on the street from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. regardless of weather. Also, year-round no hauling trailers, boats, motor vehicles, buses, camping vehicles, trucks, vehicles, etc., can be parked on the street continuously for more than 24 hours.
