Michael Petersen 1954 ~ 2005 I passed away on November 22, 2005, at the age of 51, and returned to my Heavenly Father after a wonderful life here on earth. I was born on August 10, 1954 to Jay Allen and Nancy Ann Jensen Petersen who I love very much. I married my high school sweetheart Ann Nuttall, (The most caring person I have ever known), on May 18, 1973 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. I graduated from Brighton High in 1972 and tried to serve faithfully in the LDS Church. I was employed by the LDS Church, working in the Family History Department since 1973. I loved to learn and help others. I tried my best to be a good husband, father, grandfather and friend. I loved to spend time with my family. I loved to laugh and ride my motorcycle. I had a special love for children and animals. Life, at times, was very hard and painful, but with a lot of love and caring, I learned what was important. It is hard to leave you. But I will be waiting and watching for each of you. I am survived by my eternal companion, Ann; four children, Rachel (Shawn) Wright, Benjamin Michael (Karen), Camille (Gene) Buell, and Laura; ten beautiful grandchildren; my Parents Jay and Nancy; brothers and sisters; Kathy (Ray), Steven (Stacey), Douglas (Cathy), Robyn (Mark), Jill (Rusty), David (Laurie), John (Tammy), Jamie (Jared), Brett (Annie), (Preceded in death by a brother, Scott) and many other beloved family members and friends. The Family expresses deep gratitude to Doctor Lynn Webster and Staff. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28th 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in the Midvale LDS Church (1211 East 7800 South). A viewing will be held at the church from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 27th. Family and friends may call 801-573-5343.
