Charlotte G. Fritzsching 12/26/27 ~ 11/27/05 Our loving mother passed away surrounded by her children. She returned to her Father in Heaven and her loving sweetheart, Werner. She was born in Hohenstein Erestthal, East Germany to Ernst and Anna Maria Grossmann. Joined the LDS church at age 19 and willingly accepted many church callings and enjoyed singing in the church choir and having special moments with each grandchild and great-grandchild. She loved being Oma. She enjoyed her friends and cherished their time together. She married Werner in 1952 and their marriage was later solemnized in the Swiss Temple. They left East Germany in 1961 for religious freedom and for their children. They settled in Salt Lake City. After the death of her husband in 1975, she worked for the LDS Church as a Microfilm Translator. Survived by children Thomas (Virginia), Evelin (Ian) Fisher, Stefan (Stephanie), eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, loving sister Eva (Sieigfried) Donner; sister Elfriede Olschyna and brother Ernst Grossmann, both of Germany. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 1, 2005 at the Douglas (German Speaking) Ward, 721 South 1200 East at 12:00 noon. A visitation will be held at the ward from 10:00 - 11:45. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
