Carol Roberts Bunnell 8/02/23 ~ 11/02/05 Our wonderful mother passed away November 2, 2005. She looked forward to being reunited with her father and mother, Frank Roberts and Zella Lichfield Roberts; her brother, Harold Roberts; and sisters, Fay Berrey and Beth Purdue. Carol lived a full and interesting life. She had great adventures traveling the world. She worked hard throughout her life managing her properties to support her six children. She graduated from BYU and was a talented artist. Her art talent served her well while she worked for Walt Disney in her younger years. She was also a resourceful businesswoman. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had many callings throughout her life ranging from Cub Scout leader to Relief Society teacher. Her testimony was a great gift to her children, Marjie Peterson (Dennis), Craig Bunnell (Pam), Bob Bunnell (Jann), Bonnie Scharman (Randy), Mike Bunnell, and Barbara Frederick. She married Alton Bunnell in the Salt Lake Temple, November 20, 1944. Mom showed us the value of hard work. She never believed in being a burden to others. She worked hard and provided well for her children. She was the recipient of the American Spirit Award. She took time to enjoy the world and share it with her family. She helped her children develop a love of music and art. She always emphasized the value of an education and continued learning throughout her life. She gave her children a desire to explore the world. Her adventures in traveling were never common. She's been a loving mother, grandmother of 19, and great-grandmother of 17. We will miss her fun sense of humor, her outlook on life, her courageous nature, and her loving kindness. Funeral services and viewing will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple. Viewing at 10 a.m. Services at 11 a.m. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
