Cleo Peterson Stephenson "Cle" Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed from this mortal existence Thursday, November 3rd as a result of heart complications in Salt Lake City. Cle was born December 3, 1928 in Neola, UT to Elwin and Lillian Reed Peterson. She married Wallace J. Stephenson July 16, 1949. They were married in Neola, UT and began their lives together in Duchesne, UT. They later spent many years in Richfield, UT before moving to Murray in 1972. Cle was an example of service, love, and devotion to her family and friends. Our lives have been greatly blessed by our association with her. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and especially cherished her 50 years of marriage to her late husband, Wally. What tears of joy must have flowed as their hope of a reunification has been realized. Cle was also an avid bridge player, an excellent cook, and enjoyed both snow and water skiing. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing her. Survived by her children, Lee Ann Winters (Terry) of Lava Hot Springs, ID, and Jeff Stephenson of Murray, UT; and brother, Duane "Skinner" Peterson of Lehi, UT; grandchildren include, Shane, Scott, and Ryan Beeson. Preceding Cle in death include her husband, Wallace; both parents; and brothers, Lloyd, Dale, and Glade Peterson. A graveside service will be Wed-nesday, Nov. 9th, 1 p.m., Murray City Cemetery, 166 E. 5600 So. A tribute luncheon will be held in her honor at the Three Fountains Clubhouse following the graveside services located at 828 E. Three Fountains Circle (5000 So.), Murray. www.jenkins-soffe.com
