Obituary: Anna Lou Farnsworth

Anna Lou Farnsworth 1926 ~ 2005 Our Mom and "Granie" Anna Lou, age 79, left this world Saturday, October 29, 2005. She was born March 13, 1926 in Lakeview, Utah. She was the 5th child of Doris Hoggan and Alfred J. Rogers. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest LaSalle Farnsworth. She remained true and faithful to her beliefs throughout her life. She and LaSalle served a memorable mission to Alaska. She loved serving in the temple, until her heath prevented her from going. She was a gifted seamstress, willing to teach anyone her little secrets. A lover of animals, her constant companion these last years was her cat, DC. She had an adventurous spirit, and traveled throughout the world, experiencing life to the fullest. She always made the entire world a better place with her smile. She is survived by her children, Cherry Ann (William B.) McDonald, Crista D. (Hugh) Povar, Clifford "Buddy" Rhoads, Anna Marie Rhoads; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. There will be a "Celebration of life" for Anna Lou this Thursday, November 10, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at the Summerhill Stake Center, 12120 So. 1900 W., Riverton, UT. A catered luncheon will follow.
