Helene Lund Crane 1927 ~ 2005 Helene Lund Crane, 78, passed away unexpectedly November 3, 2005 at her home in Bountiful, Utah. Born May 7, 1927 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah the daughter of Joseph and Augusta Weinreich Lund. She married John Richard Crane, an officer in the United States Air Force, December 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah; they lived in New Mexico, Okinawa, Texas and Nevada before returning to Utah. Helene was a secretary for the Utah Historical Society. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed crafts, painting, dance, gardening, and crocheting. She loved basketball and was an avid Jazz fan. She was a student of Tai Chi who studied with Master Lu. Her greatest joy was to lead one of his classes. She is survived by her children, Gray Crane, his wife, Daphne, Christene Roberson, her husband, Jack, Linda Bergquist, her husband, Jay; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Elizabeth McNulty. Preceded in death by her husband, Capt. John R. Crane, USAF Thunderbirds; brothers, Murray and Emil Lund. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2005 at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may call one hour prior to services. Inurnment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
