Obituary: Coralyn Keppner Murphy

Coralyn Keppner Murphy 2/12/1940 ~ 11/5/2005 Coralyn K. Murphy, age 65, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, returned home to her Heavenly Father Nov. 5, 2005 due to heart failure. She is the daughter of Lehi A. and Mary Ella Statham Keppner. Born the 12th of February 1940 in Hibbard, Idaho and raised in Rexburg, Idaho along with her brother and seven sisters. Married Donald M. Murphy March 22, 1962 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and raised her family in the Cottonwood area. An active member of the LDS Church, Lyn loved working in the Young Women's program. Lyn is survived by her husband; her children (the love of her life), Paul, Debra (Scott) Elmer, Holly (Kevin) Aldrich, and Patrick; her five grandchildren, Braedon, Sierra, Madysen, Jayda, and Taegon; her brother, Karl (Betty) Keppner; her sisters, Dorla (Mel) England, Mona Jensen, Lucille Johnson, Genevieve Smith, Billie (James) Thompson, and Jean Cook. Preceded in death by her loving parents; her sister, Mary Dawn Benson; and her three children, Mark, Mindee, and Christopher. Funeral services will be held Thursday November 10, 2005, 11 a.m. at the South Cottonwood Stake Center, 1250 East 4800 South. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 So. 2300 E., and at the church Thursday morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn.
