Obituary: Fawn Smith

Fawn Smith 1939 ~ 2005 After saying goodbye to many family and friends, our sweet Fawn passed away peacefully at home, November 3, 2005. She was born January 20, 1939 in SLC. The youngest child of Thomas Alonzo and Frances Avon John Smith. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving faithfully in many church callings. Fawn lit up a room, put a smile on your face and made you feel like you were her best friend. She worked at Mountain Bell/US West more than 30 years, went to Disneyland more times than we can count, and freely gave of her time, talents, and hugs. Fawn will be deeply missed by all. Survived by brothers, Barclay (Mary), Lynn (Annie), Adrian (Pat); sisters, Avon, Wanda and Adele; sisters-in-law, Arline and Marian; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ken, Ray, and Don; sister, Afton; and brother-in-law, Rudy LaValle. Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 8, 2005 at Wasatch Mortuary, 3401 Highland Dr., 11 a.m. Viewings at the same location Monday November 7, 2005, 6-8 p.m. and 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment at the Highland City Cemetery, Highland, UT.
