Obituary: Kay Clark

Kay Clark 1931 ~ 2005 Kay F. Clark passed away at home November 4, 2005 after a valiant struggle with cancer. Kay was born February 8, 1931 in Canada to Ross and Ruth Finch Hum-phries. Kay married Shirley Donohue and later divorced. He then married Lynn Roberts, January 1, 1980 in Reno, Nevada. Kay graduated as Valedic-torian at Tooele High School and then enlisted in the Navy. After his military service he worked for the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Department. He retired as a detective after 20 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Lynn; sons, Bill (Peggy) Clark, Mike (Norma) Clark; stepchildren, Rick (Nancy) Rose, Veronica (Lonnie) Smith; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara White; stepsister, Denise; and his faithful stepmother, Alice. He was preceded in death by his folks, Orville and Myrtle Clark. Graveside services will be 12 noon, Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Rd., Bluffdale. Services under the direction of Peel Funeral Home.
