Today on TV

King of Queens (7 p.m., Ch. 2): Doug and Carrie's romantic getaway goes awry.

Monday Night Football (7 p.m., Ch. 4): Colts at Patriots

Surface (7 p.m., Ch. 5): The mystery deepens as the bodies start piling up.

Arrested Development (7 p.m., Ch. 13): In an hourlong episode, Michael tries to prove he's not a wimp.

7th Heaven (7 p.m., Ch. 30): Sandy's father approaches Eric and Lucy with a plan for helping his daughter.

How I Met Your Mother (7:30 p.m., Ch. 2): Ted visits a matchmaker.

Two and a Half Men (8 p.m., Ch. 2): Martin Sheen visits his son Charlie's sitcom, but he doesn't play the fictional Charlie's father — he plays Rose's father. It's sort of fun to see the Sheens together, but this is not one of the series' better episodes.

Las Vegas (8 p.m., Ch. 5): The regulars travel back in time, sort of, to 1962.

Prison Break (8 p.m., Ch. 13): Michael must sacrifice a life to get the escape plan back on track.

Out of Practice (8:30 p.m., Ch. 2): Stewart panics over his relationship with Crystal. There's good news from CBS about this show — the network has picked up nine more episodes, renewing it through the end of the season.

Medium (9 p.m., Ch. 5): Joe serves on a jury that is deciding the fate of a man who keeps showing up in Allison's dreams.
