In the past few weeks, the Deseret Morning News has published letters from people implying that I am anti-Mormon. First of all, my letters are almost always defensive — not offensive. I usually write in response to people who blame Darwinian theory for Hitler's mass murders or consider coffee drinking an open act of rebellion. Secondly, I always try to address the actual issue at hand instead of resorting to personal character attacks.

The accusations against me were in response to my claims that non-traditional families should not be disparaged and that Rocky is not anti-Mormon. I hope the people who are so threatened by my comments are never confronted by one of the protesters at Temple Square. Their heads might explode upon meeting a true "anti-Mormon."
