Obituary: Dennis D. Mika

Dennis D. Mika 1949 ~ 2005 My Sweetheart, my Buddy, my Life, Dennis D. Mika, 56, passed away Nov. 6, 2005 in Sandy, Utah. He was born Sept. 7, 1949 in Zanesville, Ohio to Martin and Mildred Conish Mika. Married Vicki Thornton in Lake Tahoe, NV on Aug. 28, 1989. He was an avid golfer, and a dedicated husband, father and grandpa. He will be deeply missed. Survived by his wife, Vicki; daughter, Erica (Les) Hartzog; sons, Andrew (Rachel) Mika, and David (Marlene) Shepherd; grandchildren, Shayne, Tristan, Cori and Sara; brother, Martin (Larraine) Mika; and mother-in-law, Marie Thornton. A gathering in remembrance of Dennis will be held Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State. At his request, cremation has taken place.
