I thought your article on Monticello football was nice, but you need to get the facts. The band described as "ramshackle" was in actuality the jazz band, which is a very good, state-championship jazz band. Our whole band wins in competitions year after year, and our band leader is known statewide as one of the best.
It was also mentioned that Reed Anderson was the 1A MVP. You should read your own paper. The Deseret Morning News 1A MVP last year was Scott Toomey. Reed Anderson was the Salt Lake Tribune 1A MVP. They shared this honor.
