Dale Bills, spokesman for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, said Monday mission presidents in the areas affected by the continuing social unrest in France report all missionaries are safe and accounted for.

"They've been instructed to avoid those neighborhoods and to stay in if there's any kind of concern, but they are all safe and have been given some precautions to take," Bills said.

He said food and water have been stored in each missionary apartment and that local priesthood leaders are assisting to assure the safety and well-being of the missionaries.
