Two people were arrested Saturday night in Sevier County for investigation of attempted homicide.

Emergency dispatchers in Richfield received a call about 8:15 p.m. from a man who said he had been injured on I-70 near Clear Creek Canyon. When officers arrived, they discovered the man had been shot in the arm with the bullet that also traveled through his shoulder, according to a press release from the Sevier County Sheriff's Office.

The man gave a good description of the vehicle the alleged gunmen were driving, which had Oklahoma license plates.

A sheriff's deputy spotted the car later in the evening, and both parties were arrested, according to the release.
