Lost (8 p.m., Ch. 4): Following a couple of weeks of reruns, we get a new episode. And, we're promised, somebody is going to die.
The Kennedy Center Presents: The MarkTwain Prize (8 p.m., Ch. 7): Steve Martin is the recipient this year, and when this show was taped a few weeks ago — ceremonies that included appearances by Tom Hanks, Dave Barry, Lily Tomlin, Larry David, Martin Short, Eric Idle and Carl Reiner — the results were so funny that this show was expanded from 90 minutes to two hours.
Stacked (7:30 p.m., Ch. 13): It's the second-season premiere of this sitcom that has the occasional funny moment but, overall, isn't worth wasting much time on.
Veronica Mars (8 p.m., Ch. 24): "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" creator/executive producer Joss Whedon makes a cameo appearance as a rental-car manager.
CSI: NY (9 p.m., Ch. 2): The conclusion of the two-part crossover episode that began Monday on "CSI: Miami."
Invasion (9 p.m., Ch. 4): Larkin is injured in an accident.
Law & Order (9 p.m., Ch. 5): A woman is attacked and her baby is stolen.
