The real pettiness in the Legacy Parkway process is a few small extremist groups using legal extortion to cost the rest of the citizens (who overwhelmingly want and need the highway) of the state some $300 million. Blaming UDOT for that is like saying the thief isn't responsible for stealing your car because you didn't lock all the doors.
And now, cutting out commerce on the highway, the ridiculous 55 mph speed limit, etc., are just blackmail slaps in the face from these enviro-kooks as they further invoke their petty anti-auto, anti-human, anti-Utah hatred.
