OREM — A worker performing maintenance on the roof of a store near 300 E. University Parkway on Tuesday discovered the body of a young male.

Police were notified, and after discovering an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound and a weapon near the body, determined that he had likely committed suicide. Police have not yet identified the young man, but are checking records of missing persons and runaways.
