Firefighters in Hamilton, N.J., carry an albino python, measuring about 15 feet in length, out of an industrial plant that was destroyed by fire Tuesday. The snake, which belonged to a person who worked at the factory, survived the fire. The building was being scrutinized as a possible health hazard after more than 40 years of asbestos contamination. More than a dozen investigators from federal, state and local law enforcement were investigating the fire scene, but officials would not say if they suspected the blaze, which caused no injuries, had been deliberately set. The fast-moving blaze left only portions of the walls standing at the 40,000-square-foot factory.
