A computer program designed to help with missing children will be handed out today during the annual March of Dimes walk.

The Salt Lake City Police Department and Farmers Insurance will introduce the Managing Information on Lost Kids digital ID program at Hogle Zoo.

The computer software provides a blueprint for families to store digital photos and other identification information on their children. Should the children become lost or missing, the information is then immediately available for officers.

The program will be handed out at the zoo from 8 a.m. to noon along with a digital photo and a fingerprint kit.
