For Every Body is out to prove that its name is no joke.

The Lindon-based company is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the opening of a new store in Draper and a new venture in scrapbooking.

"We're just going with what the customers like," said Ruth Sine, For Every Body's retail marketing director. "It's about trying to please the customers."

That philosophy, embraced a decade ago by founder Rebecca Lunceford, has helped the company grow from its roots in bath and body products to candles and gifts, and beyond.

For Every Body isn't necessarily about divining new markets, but it does focus on providing unique, quality products.

The company's candles are soy-based, for example, so they burn longer and cleaner than traditional candles, Sine said. A nine-ounce For Every Body candle should burn for 80 hours, and most candles come with their own "wow factors": the company's "sugar cookie" candle has a cookie fragrance and decorative wax "sprinkles" on the candle lid.

The 1,200-square-foot Draper outlet store, which opened April 2, offers discounted prices on For Every Body products and marks an important step for the company, Nancy Hawkes, manager of the Lindon outlet store, said in a prepared statement.

"The new store is a sign of growth for our company," Hawkes said. "I enjoy promoting the Lindon outlet, and it will be exciting to see For Every Body grow on the other side of the mountain. . . . People love our products because they are healthy, good for their skin and safe to use."

For Every Body has nearly doubled its revenue every year since it was founded, said Sine. In addition to its Lindon facility, the company also has a store in the Orem University Mall and now the one in Draper. It also has expanded its market globally through deals with smaller retailers, Sine said.

While candles, bath/body products and gifts will continue to be keys in For Every Body's portfolio, it has no plans to rest on laurels. Its latest venture, a sister store called For Every Scrapbook, is scheduled to celebrate its grand opening Saturday.

"We know scrapbooking is big," Sine said. "Our customers love candles, and we saw a direct relationship. We found that those who loved candles also loved scrapbooking. So we thought we'd try it."

For Every Scrapbook will be located at 400 N. Geneva Road, next door to the For Every Body outlet store in Lindon.
