Salt Lake County Aging Services — Ombudsman strive to support and protect the rights of individuals living in long-term care facilities. Requires professionalism, excellent communication skills and compassion for the elderly.
AARP Driver Safety Program — Join the nearly 70 volunteers throughout the state who teach the oldest and best-known defensive driving class directed primarily at drivers older than 50. Training provided.
OFFER — Volunteers are needed for the OFFER office and for our annual fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome conferences held on April 15-16.
Big Brothers Big Sisters — Their wish list of donations: tickets to local concerts, sporting events and festivals, a straight paper cutter, places to put donation bins, space or time in print, TV or radio to run PSAs.
FCYD — Foundation for Children and Youth with Diabetes camp needs kitchen staff, transportation, skiing and snowboarding staff, and medical coverage. Day or entire weekend volunteers are needed.
