Farmers and ranchers in three Utah watersheds are invited to participate in a new conservation incentive program, the Conservation Security Program. The sign-up will be administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The program is available in the Little Bear-Logan, San Pitch (Manti) and Montezuma (Monticello) watersheds until May 27.

CSP offers three levels of participation, depending on the amount of the farm or ranch involved and documented conservation. Payments will be made based on tier level and the producer's agreement to implement continued/additional conservation practices.
