PARK CITY — American Skiing Co. on Wednesday reported net income of $23.8 million, or 29 cents per share, for the third fiscal quarter ended May 1. That compares with income of $24.5 million, or 32 cents per share, for the same quarter last year.
Revenue totaled $135.2 million, down from $145.7 million in the previous year's quarter.
The company said resort revenues climbed about $16 million and said The Canyons in Park City had another record season. Companywide skier visits were up 3 percent for fiscal 2005, compared to a year ago.

In addition to The Canyons, the company operates Killington and Mount Snow in Vermont, Sunday River and Sugarloaf/USA in Maine, Attitash in New Hampshire, and Steamboat in Colorado.
