Jaqueline Villota 1971 ~ 2005 HERRIMAN, UT- Jaqueline Villota Martinez returned to our Heavenly Father June 16, 2005. She was born January 8, 1971 in Pasto, Colombia to Carlos Villota and Mirian Martinez, and was raised by her grandparents, Martha Colunge and Alfonso Cifuentes. Jaqueline was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She touched the lives of many people. She worked very hard to help support her sons: Jonnathan, Jorge, and Chammy. She was one to always set and achieve personal goals. Her primary goal was to be her sons' best friend. Her greatest joy was to be with her boys: learning to snowboard, roller blade, and play volleyball, despite the bumps and bruises. When her boys took up football she thought it was a boring sport, but she soon learned the sport and had fun running from one football field to another to show her kids that she was their biggest fan. Jaqueline taught her sons to have faith in God, to be good friends, to save their money, to study hard in school, and even to cook traditional Colombian meals. Because of her example, her sons will grow to be good men in loving memory of their mother. Jaqueline was survived by three sons: Jonnathan, Jorge, Chammy Roses (Herriman, UT); her parents: Carlos Villota, Mirian Martinez (Cali Colombia); grandfather: Alfonso Cifuentes (Sandy, UT); her sisters: Sandra Villota (Pasto Colombia), Irlanda Villota (Cali Colombia), Jazmin Fox, Yohanna Belden (Ogden, UT); Mabel Villota (Cali Colombia), Jamileth Jex (Salem, UT); Paula Villota (Cali Colombia), Martha Thurston (Smithfield, UT); her brother Yovanni Villota, (Sandy, UT). She was preceded in death by her grandmother: Martha Colunge, grandfathers: Carlos Martinez, Guillermo Arteaga, Aunts and uncles: Mario Cifuentes, Edith Baruque and Eduardo Martinez. She also leaves behind many other family and friends who love her and will miss her. We love you so much Jaqueline and know you are happy with your mamita and Edith. Enjoy eternity together.
