BLUFFDALE — Whether you want to race your ATV or sit back and enjoy some live theater, listen up: Bluffdale Town Days are just around the corner.

The 2005 celebration will start with the Miss Bluffdale Pageant June 11 at 7 p.m. at South Hills Middle School. The weeklong festival will then kick off on June 13 and will run through June 18.

The action will start with the ATV Quad Cross on June 13, an all-ages ATV race with separate races for novices and speedsters.

The Quad Cross will start at 7 p.m., with registration beginning at 6 p.m. at the Bluffdale Arena, 14400 S. 2200 West. Only ATVs are allowed — helmets and parents are required.

The popular musical "Forever Plaid" will run June 14-18. It is the "deliciously goofy" story of a 1950s male singing group killed on the way to a big show — then revived years later for one last chance to hit the stage.

The show will be put on by the Bluffdale Arts Council at Bluffdale Elementary School at 7:15 p.m. each day, with a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m. Tickets are $3 per person for $15 for a family pass.

Other events include:

Team penning and team sorting, June 15-16 at 7 p.m.
