A Franklin Covey employee has been charged in 3rd District Court Thursday with stealing from her employer.
The 38-year-old West Jordan woman was the director of the company's wellness center when she made "numerous unauthorized charges on a Franklin Covey credit card for her own use," according to court documents.
Charging documents also indicate that she had written several checks using the company account for personal use.
The total amount believed taken from the company between June 2001 and October 2003 is more than $70,000.
She is charged with second-degree theft. If convicted she could receive fines and up to 15 years in jail.
