A man died Sunday morning after the pickup he was driving rolled.
Killed was: Bobbie A. Stephensen, 18, Mona,Juab County.
The man was driving eastbound alone about six miles east of Nephi on U-132 at about 7:25 a.m. when he missed a curve, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. He was not wearing a seat belt.
"He wasn't speeding," said UHP Sgt. Sheldon Riches. "We're speculating he fell asleep, but we just don't know."
Neither drugs nor alcohol are thought to be involved, Riches said.
Stephensen's 1997 Ford pickup apparently entered westbound lanes and then a ditch at around milepost 30. The pickup rolled at least once. Stephensen was ejected through an unlocked driver's-side door. UHP officials say Stephensen died instantly.
No other cars were involved.
