Logen Wayne Dunford 08/19/05 SYRACUSE - Our sweet little Logen arrived August 19, 2005, just a quick two minutes after his big brother. After beating all the odds to get here and fighting so hard, he could only stay a short six hours, long enough to meet his Mom and Dad, brother and sisters, and his Grandparents. We were lucky enough to say hello and blessed enough to be able to hold and kiss him and then say goodbye as he peacefully returned to Heavenly Father. While our hearts are aching, we know that he is ours forever, and Logen we are truly privileged to have enjoyed your little soul through a tough pregnancy for you and your brother and your brief moment here. You are forever in our hearts if not in our arms. Logen is survived by his twin brother, Cole; big brother, Ian; and big sisters, Sara and Aislynn. He is also survived by his dad and mom, Chad and Leanne Dunford; his Grandparents, Lynn and Kaye Manhart, and Mundi and Lois Pedersen; many Aunts, Uncles and cousins; and two Great-Grandmas, Helen Dunford and Jean Laws. Thanks to all of the staff at the U of U OB Diagnostic Center, Labor and Delivery, NBICU and Post Partum for your skill and compassion. A special thanks to Dr. Sean Esplin, Dr. Jan Byrne from the U of U. Without you we would never have had the opportunity to meet Logen and have him for even the brief moments we had. Our hearts are full of love and thankfulness for your skills, time, effort and especially your compassion. You have made a difficult time bearable. Special thanks also to Dr. Ball and his staff at UCSF for their special skills and help in getting Logen and Cole here. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2005, at 2:30 p.m. in the Smithfield Cemetery, 300 E. Center St., under the direction of Myers Mortuary, Layton.
