The Utah Jazz and Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain signed a new long-term telecast agreement beginning with the 2005-06 NBA season. It includes a minimum of 40 regular-season games and pregame shows to be telecast annually on FSN Rocky Mountain, which will later be renamed FSN Utah for viewers in this state.

"We are extremely pleased to have FSN Rocky Mountain become the largest broadcasting partner in Utah Jazz history," said Jazz chief marketing officer Randy Rigby. "This partnership involves not just telecasting additional games but an exciting new venture in local sports programming under the brand of FSN Utah. This endeavor will increase our viewer base, expand local sports programming and offer FSN Rocky Mountain an expanded presence in this dynamic media market."

Tim Griggs, vice president and GM of FSN-RM, indicated the group will work with Larry H. Miller's operations "on plans to develop and launch FSN Utah, a network which will enhance our ability to provide even more quality local programming for sports fans throughout the state."
