Obituary: Norma Jean (Choate) Pedersen

Norma Jean (Choate) Pedersen 1931 ~ 2005 Norma Jean (Choate) Pedersen, returned to her heavenly father at home with her loving husband and daughter at her side on August 12, 2005 due to natural causes. Born November 19, 1931 in Dove Creek, Colorado to William Harvey and Ola Virginia (Goforth) Choate. Married Henning (Pete) Pedersen on February 9, 1978 in Elko Nevada Jean was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother. Family meant everything to her. She loved traveling with her husband but they made their home in Brooking Oregon. Jean was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her husband, of Brookings. Daughters: Judy L. Easley of Carson City, NV; Gloria J. Harris of Tacoma, WA. Son Robert W. Kelly, wife Kathy of Ely, NV Step Sons; Henning (Joe) Pedersen of Malad Id, Richard Pedesen wife Rosalie of Salt Lake City, Ut, Scott Pedersen wife Emy of Vista Ca. Ten grandkids, six great-grandkids. Proceeded in death by her parents, brothers, Fred and Leon, and daughter Cheryl. Jean's ashes will be scattered at sea by the USCG in a private family ceremony on September 3, 2005. Arrangements are under the direction of Redwood Memorial Chapel and Crematory of Brookings Oregon.
