Doyle S. Topham 12/21/19 ~ 9/10/05 Doyle Stevens Topham, age 85, passed away Sept 10, 2005 in Delta. Born on Dec 21, 1919 in Paragonah to Joseph Ernest and Bertha Stevens Topham. Spent his early years helping his father on his farm in Paragonah. Oldest of four children. Attended college in Cedar City for two years. Married Pearl Baker on Sept 4, 1941 in Manti LDS Temple. Served as Sergeant in World War II. Doyle "Top" worked in restaurant business for 45 years. Former owner of Top's City Caf in Delta for over 20 years. Active member in Junior Chamber of Commerce, American Legion, and Kiwanis. Owned and enjoyed horses most of his life. Active member of LDS Church. In later years, enjoyed hunting, bowling, golfing, and his grandchildren. Spent 64 years with his wife Pearl. Loving husband and father and will be missed greatly by his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, sister, nieces and nephews. Survived by wife: Pearl, Delta; children: Doyle B. (Ranetta) Topham, South Jordan; Sharen Westmoreland, Delta; Peggy Topham, Delta; Denise Bunyard, Grantsville; Joe (Carlee) Topham, Delta; Tim (Sandra) Topham, Delta. 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sister: Marie Berrie, Kearns; brothers: Ivan Topham, Washington, UT; Lanell (Ellen) Topham, Modesto, CA; sister-in-law: Nadine Baker, South Jordan; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services: Wed, Sept 14, 2005, 11 a.m., in the Delta 1st Ward Chapel. Friends call Tues, 7-8 p.m. at Nickle Mortuary in Delta and Wed. at the church, 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. Burial, Delta Cemetery.
