Obituary: Florence M. Rupp

Florence M. Rupp 1921 ~ 2005 Florence Minnie May Rupp, returned to her loving Heavenly Father on Sept 9, 2005. Florence was born in Grantsville, UT on April 28, 1921. She was the third child of Vigo Harold May and Mae Elizabeth Severe May. She married George Surman Rupp on Feb 20, 1941. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple. They were the proud parents of seven sons. Florence was very proud of her family heritage. She would love us to mention that her great-great-grand-father, Harrison Severe was one of the founders of Grantsville. Florence is survived by her sons, Larry Rupp (Bonnie), Joseph Rupp (Marsha), Paul Rupp (Becky), and Glade Rupp (Melody). Her surviving brothers, Randall May, Marlo May (Sharlene), and sister Vonda Angel. She also has 24 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Florence was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Farrel May, and three sons, Robert Dale Rupp, Kenneth Kay Rupp, Noel Brent Rupp. Services will be held on Sept 14, 2005 at 1 p.m. in the LDS Church located at 415 W. Apple St. Grantsville, UT. Friends may call prior to services from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at Grantsville City Cemetery.
