Obituary: Norell Crawford

Norell Crawford "Jake" Our loving husband, dad, brother and grandfather passed away September 11, 2005 surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 13, 1924 in Grafton, Utah. Graduated from Ogden High School. He served in the Navy in World War II and the Korean War. Married June Brady December 10, 1970; later sealed in the Jordan River Temple February 22, 1986. Retired from Wheeler Machinery after 36 years. Was a worker in the Jordan River Temple and served in the bishopric. Dad loved hunting and was well known for his barbecues. Survived by his wife, June, who loves him deeply; daughter, Linda (Kenny), Salt Lake; sons: Brent (Maurine), Salt Lake; James, California; grandchildren: Trudi, Frederick (Rebekka), Salt Lake; Erik (Cindy) Montana; and Ben; four sisters and spouses. Preceded in death by parents and daughter, Pam. The family would like to thank the VA Hospital for their excellent care. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 15, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park. A viewing will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2005, 6-7:30 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
