Week 2 of the Grid Picks contest proved much easier than Week 1 for the public, with the weekly winner and runners-up all scoring perfect 12's.
Randall Jex of Spanish Fork was closest on the tiebreaking score among the 1,124 entries, missing Utah's 31-7 win over Utah State by just three points. With his winning pick, Jex wins tickets to a coming college football game and a Grid Picks T-shirt.
Runners-up winning T-shirts were Lane Taylor of American Fork, Brian Loveland of South Ogden, Justin Thompson of Bountiful, Fred Williams of Lehi, Chris Sorenson of Tooele and Steve Andersen of Chula Vista, Calif.
Among media panelists, KSL's Tom Kirkland bounced back from a 4-7 start to post 10-2 this week. Jon Ringwood and Greg Wrubell each went 9-3, and had Wrubell stayed with LSU, he would have tied Kirkland. Ringwood and Wrubell share the overall lead at 16-7 for the two weeks. Loren Jorgensen went 8-4, for second overall, and Amy Donaldson went 5-7 to fall below .500 on the year.
