Thursday, Oct. 6, Layton — Rescheduled from September — At 7 p.m., the Layton City Council will consider rezoning 37 acres along the north side of the extension of West Hill Field Road, between 2200 and 2700 West. Zones include a neighborhood commercial, a multifamily zone, single-family zone and professional-business area. Meeting is at City Hall, 437 N. Wasatch Drive.

Friday, Oct. 28, Layton — Halloween Game Night: Friday 6-8 p.m. at Commons Park Bowery (north of Constitution Circle). Plenty of games and contests for the kids: costume contest, pumpkin bowling, coloring contest, bobbing for apples, pie walk, and more. Free admission.

Saturday, Nov. 19, Layton — Turkey Bowl:, 1-3 p.m. at Davis Lanes (1396 N. Main, Layton). Bowl with the family for only $1 per person per game.
