John Larroquette will guest star on NBC's "Joey," which premieres Sept. 22.
Larroquette plays a classically trained, award-winning actor who co-stars with Matt LeBlanc's character, Joey Tribbiani, in a movie called "Captured."
The first of his two episodes will air Sept. 29, the network announced this week.
Larroquette, 57, won four Emmy Awards for his role as Assistant District Attorney Dan Fielding on "Night Court," which ran from 1984-92.
He also won an Emmy for his guest role on "The Practice."
