Zimbabwe in deep distress

I keep putting this off because I don't quite know what to say. Terrible things are going on in Zimbabwe, Africa. President Magabe is destroying his own country. He is burning the homes of his own people. It is winter there. I think he harms the people who don't vote for him. My husband and I served a mission there.

Friends ask why the United States doesn't help. Zimbabwe is not a threat to us and other countries, and we can be spread so thin. Right now, the LDS Church is helping feed Niger and Ethiopia. I am sure it is also trying to help Zimbabwe. It can help the people, but it can't get rid of Magabe.

We only get a few letters from Zimbabwe. People write but never complain. They are afraid to.
