Hunt Mysteries Halloween shows to raise funds for charities, PTA

Hunt Mysteries has scheduled several fund-raising performances of its new Halloween comedy murder mystery "Monsters Anonymous & Dr. Jekyll's Secret 13th Step" throughout October.

All but one of the fund-raising efforts are geared to specific dates in Logan, Ogden and Salt Lake City, but donations to United Cerebral Palsy may be made through any performance.

Non-profit agencies receiving donations include the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund, the Daily Dose Foundation, United Cerebral Palsy of Utah and the Freedom Elementary School PTA in Highland.

Those booking reservations for shows on Oct. 7 at the Copper Mill, Logan, Oct. 15 at the Ogden Marriott or Oct. 21 at the Red Lion in Salt Lake City can request $3.50 per ticket be earmarked for the Red Cross (donation requests must be made when making reservations).

The Daily Dose Foundation is co-sponsoring the performance on Oct. 22 at the Red Lion Hotel, with $6 of each $30 ticket going to the foundation. For reservations, call the foundation at 957-5442 or visit the www.dailydosefoundation.org Web site.

Those donating to United Cerebral Palsy of Utah can book tickets for any of the Halloween season shows in Logan, Ogden or Salt Lake City and Hunt Mysteries will donate $3.50 from each ticket to UCP (contact Shelly Petty at 266-1805, ext. 101, or send an e-mail to shellyp@ucputah.org).
