Legislators should meet publicly

To the state legislators that met privately with LDS officials or lobbyists, I would like to extend an invitation to meet privately with me to discuss my opposition to tax deductions for charitable contributions. As a voter and taxpayer, I (and every other taxpayer) should have the same access to state legislators as the LDS Church.

Public business should be done in public. Legislators should not breach the public trust by meeting in secret.
