Logan man wins Week 3 on 'coin flip'

Week 3 in the college Grid Picks contest proved another easy one for online contestants. Two pickers among the 1,085 entrants tied for the top spot, getting all 12 games right and missing the tiebreaker by 27 points apiece.

As the result of a computer "coin flip," Gilbert De Guzman of Logan receives tickets to an upcoming football game and a Grid Picks T-shirt. Dan Haskell of Stockton receives a T-shirt.

Other runners-up with 12 correct included Lance Orr of South Jordan, 29 on the tiebreaker: Jason Wootton of Saratoga Springs, Fla., 30 on tiebreaker; Kerry Price

of Draper, 31 on tiebreaker; Steve Swan of Magna and Jason Deherrera of Sandy both scored 32 on the tiebreaker. All receive T-shirts.

Among the media panelists, KSL Radio's Greg Wrubell went 10-2 to take over sole possession of first place, KSL-TV's Tom Kirkland was 9-3, Loren Jorgensen and Jon Ringwood went 8-4 apiece and Amy Donaldson had another sub .500 week at 5-7.
