Obituary: Doris Marie Eathorne Brady

Doris Marie Eathorne Brady 1930 ~ 2005 Doris Marie Eathorne Brady passed away peacefully at her home on September 17, 2005, of cancer. She was born November 4, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan to Harold Alexander and Gladys Selman Eathorne. On April 25, 1947, she married Harold Ray "Jack" Brady. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Doris faithfully fulfilled many callings including teacher, visiting teacher, Primary president, Relief Society president, Stake Primary president. Doris was a joy to be around and had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to tease, laugh and play games with her family, bake her legendary bread and rolls, and eat chocolate. We will miss the sound of her beautiful whistling. Survived by husband, children, Dory Lorenc, Rick (Debbie), Jane (Leo) Koetje, Nancy (Gale) Hendry, Matt (Shauna), Mark (Julie), Jack (Angie), 50 grandchildren, 22 great-grand-children; sisters, Lucille Chittick, June Thompson, Rose Eathorne; brother Jim Eathorne. Preceded in death by parents, sisters, Grace Harwood, Dorothy Eathorne; brother, Richard Eathorne, granddaughter, Marlo Lorenc. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 23 at 1 p.m. at the Bountiful 15th Ward, 1250 South Main, Bountiful. A viewing will be held from 11:30-12:30 at the chapel on Friday. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
